FAQs
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I first held a camera when I was 6 years old. Captivated by my motherÂs Minolta film SLR, I was taught that a camera is only a tool, that a great photographer must learn to develop an eye for incredible images first, and was then handed a tiny plastic disposable camera. Fancier cameras landed in my grasp as I improved my skills, and today I work with tools of the highest caliber. I spent 5 years in visual marketing and product displays for several retailers, and use these skills to architect and create scenes worth capturing.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I offer photography and videography for any event! Weddings, bar and bat mitzvahs, birthdays, vacations, corporate parties, business marketing, portraits & head shots... You name it, I've got you covered.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
A good photographer should ask lots of questions before preparing a shoot for a customer. This way, they can truly understand what image you want to bring to the world. They are the artist, so make sure you like the "creative eye" they have, but they should also be flexible and capable of capturing the image you want. A great photographer is prepared; for weather changes, lighting issues, props & wardrobe needs, location complications.. for anything! Make sure you hire someone who isn't so lost in their own little creative world that they miss those important little details.
