Living Anew

Introduction: I provide counseling, hypnotism, group therapy and education classes for cancer survivors and their families. I use psychotherapy, cognitive restructuring, and cognitive behavioral techniques to minimize anxiety and depression related to cancer. I utilize hypnotism to reduce nausea, discomfort and stress. I facilitate retreats for cancer survivors incorporating art therapy, music therapy, massage, tai chi and education. I also train medical staff and professionals on treatment issues associated with cancer survivors. I facilitate a 6-week educational course called "Living Anew" to assist cancer survivors in surviving cancer. I have a master's degree in marriage and family counseling from the Adler School of Professional Psychology. I am a licensed clinical professional counselor. I was trained by Bernie Siegel M.D. through Dr. Siegel's ECaP program. I am an advanced certified hypnotherapist, and have a complimentary medical certificate from the National Guild of Hypnotists. I teach tai chi and boot camp, as well as enjoy exercise, running, and volunteering my time overseas to assist in relief programs. Paul is trained by the International Critical Stress Foundation in critical stress management. Paul has developed specific training programs for corporations, hospitals, international organizations, and treatment centers. He is presently working on a book, "Living Anew/How To Survive Cancer". Paul has two wonderful teenage boys.
