Hi, my name is Mike, and I have been a photographer for 29 years, 6 of those as a professional. I am available for on-location shoots in the Chicago metro area, including the counties of Cook, Du Page, Will, Kane, and Kendall.
I enjoy shooting all types of subjects, including, but are not limited to architecture, bands, belly dancers, bikini models, cars, food, fashion models, lingerie, nature, portraits, weddings, and informal gatherings, and much more.
I love being behind the lens and find it to be one of the most interesting and thought-provoking art forms there is. My clients have had nothing, but great things to say about me and my photography. I don't have fancy backdrops and lighting packages; I love to shoot with natural light and available light. I also love to assist up-and-coming models with their portfolios.
I have won three awards in 2004, 2005, and 2006 for "Outstanding Achievement in Amateur Photography" from the International Society of Photography. I also had a picture shown on a local TV station and have had several of my pictures published in my local newspaper.
I am a highly motivated and hardworking photographer, and I am always learning more of the art from being in the field, the internet, books, magazines, and fellow photographers.
I love to make my customers happy. My shoots are always fun and productive. Shooting in digital format gives myself and my client the instant feedback on that shot that makes both of us say "wow".
So, if you're looking for a photographer who is friendly, focused, and always open to share your ideas, please contact me for further details.

A. I am frequently asked to shoot model and wedding photos. Many people really enjoy the way I photograph an occasion!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I believe that I take the time to get my images just right. Whether it is posing a model or zooming in on the smallest detail of a flower. I love the lasting impression my clients that make them want to come back and work with me time and time again!
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Meeting new people, exploring new ideas that they may have on how to make a shot just right. Being out in nature and learning to respect the beauty of the world around me, having free reign on my creativity.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How long have you been a photographer? 30 years is my answer.
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. I just invested in some new camera equipment to help me advance even more in the photography field. I want to be able to have the best equipment for my needs in order to provide the best product for my clients!
Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?
A. Take the time to learn as much as you can from fellow photographers, books, magazines, school, online and in the field. Practice, practice, practice, take pictures all the time, develop your own style and go with it. It may take a long time to get into the business, but if you wait and keeep your dreams alive, good things will come!
