I was highly recommended by my husbands family to take a look at some of jasmine's photography for our March 2012 wedding. As soon as my husband and I seen her photos we just fell in love and we knew we had to have her!! With only a few weeks until our wedding we contacted her and prayed she would be available. We sent her all the info she needed and she responded in excellent timing! She and her husband were so patient and fun to work with! We got our pictures in the mail really quick. They were so Awsome. Everyone in our family including us Loved her pictures and how they came out. She really captured what we wanted and we like how they look so natural and edgy! Her prices are amazing for her talent and work.We cant thank her enough for the time and effort she gave us! My husband and i would recommend her to everyone we know!

I met Jasmine when i was looking for a photographer for my wedding. She was recomended by my sister-in-law. She was amazing. I didn't want the standard formal pictures where everyone looks too posed. She did an excellent job at giving us a variety of poses. She has a unique view on photography. I was very impressed with how professional and organized she was. We received the pictures in a reasonable amount of time. We were very happy with the pictures. All I can say is I loved the experience and would use her again.

Absolutely BRILLIANT! JaziPhoto has never disappointed my eyes. I referred her to colleagues who needed professional engagement photos & I am pleased to share that they not only booked JaziPhoto for their engagement photos, but their wedding as well. They are more than pleased with the service, level of creativity and professionalism.

Jasmine is easy to work with, fun,and creative! I recently had a shoot with my 5 year old and it was smooth, fast and painless! He loved it too, which isn't always the case when having yourpictures done - we had fun and in less then 48 hours we had great results!
We had an in-home shoot last year by another individual and he gave us no direction, he had no creativity, and made us uncomfortable in our own home...Jasmine is the exact opposite! You will feel comfortable with her and in front of her lense =)

Jasmine has been photographing my family since our child, who is now almost five, was 3 months old. She has always captured the moment for us with innovation, creativity, professionalism, and artistry.
I highly recommend Jasmine as a photographer. She is among the few that can provide traditional, non-traditional, and extremely artistic and innovative type frames at the switch of a lens.

A. I commonly photograph families, babies, weddings, engagement photos and senior photos. Although I have been known to photograph a pet or two!
A. Always be sure to study a photographers portfolio. Sometimes a photographers style doesn't match that of the client. You both have to be ok with knowing when it will not work (even if the cost is really cheap). Although semi-professionals and college kids can be cheaper, you'll likely end up with photos you wont be completely in love with.
A. If I were a customer I would want to know if the business had all the proper equipment to be able to get the best work in any condition. So if I were getting married indoors, does the photographer have a way to capture the best photos without ruining it with a massive flash.
A. While other photographers generally rely on controlled lighting and studio backdrops, I'd rather capture the natural beauty of a moment. I've never been a fan of posed studio photography because it's not the natural way that life happens. One of my greatest achievements is being able to capture a moment exactly as it happened in the most stunning way possible. I also want my company to be socially and economically responsible, which is why all of my prints and products are eco-friendly and we have several social causes we support.
A. The opportunity to meet families, new and growing, and capture something I know they'll treasure for the rest of their lives. I enjoy the moment a family gets to see their photos and are taken back by quality of the work.
A. The most common question is what does the shoot entail (location, outfit, etc..). I always tell my families that the best photos come from the unscripted moments. When you book with me, we'll decide the best location to do your shoot to meet your tastes. Sometimes this will be at your home, a nearby park, a landmark, a forest preserve or even the beach. This is included in your booking and I'll travel at no additional cost (within 50 miles, I can't drive to California!) I'll advise that you wear color coordinating outfits (not color matching!). Colors that work well with one another. After an hour of shooting (unless you book longer), I'll have your photos edited and posted, password protected, on my site a couple of days later. Then you just pick your packages and let the tears flow!
A. For Christmas 2010 I felt a need to give back to my local community. I noticed there were a lot of single parents that have never had the opportunity to have nice family photos due to finances, lack of time, and the craziness of life. So I created "Jazi Gives Back" and invited 12 families to come and have photoshoots free of charge for Christmas. The gratitude was overwhelming. I never believed that a photo could bring a family so much joy. It was then I truly realized that photographs could be such a life changing gift. I plan on doing this every year and hope to expand the concept too.
A. I would really want customers to know that I am not only passionate about photography, I am passionate about people. I feel like I've been given an opportunity to share my gift to bring awareness to different social issues both globally and locally. This is why each year I travel to different parts of the world and bring back photos that hopefully inspire change.
A. I am always looking for ways to learn more about my profession, equipment and developents. I attend classes, seminars (both in person and on the web), and have a group of professional peers I meet with to discuss photography. I am always striving to stay with the latest in technology and advancements. I'm kind of a photo-geek!
A. I would tell anyone interested in photography to first get a camera. It wouldn't have to be a great camera just something to get them thinking through a different "lens". Then find someone who is already doing photography and offer to help them as an "intern". Follow them on a shoot, carry their equipment, it doesnt really matter what you do as long as you take the opportunity to pick their brain. I am an avid believer that you can learn photography if you have a passion for it.
