Introduction: John Measner is a magician with 25 years of experience. He delights audiences from children, to families, to business people. John casts a magical spell with live animals (doves and a toy poodle), music and comedy. He also invites volunteers to share the spotlight and assist in the wonders of magic.
Grand Illusions are created when John brings his assistant to perform such popular requests as the Floating Lady, Houdinis Metamorphosis and original illusions. Strolling entertainment such as close-up magic, stilt walking and balloon creations are also part of his repertoire.
John has performed at festivals, colleges, theaters and corporate events throughout the U.S. and China. He has appeared on Chicago's "Bozo Show", cable TV, WGN and ABC news and is a regular at Chicago's Navy Pier.
With Johns portable pop up stage on wheels, John travels coast to coast totally self contained with sound system, props and special effects.
This was the first program patrons who saw the 1st show wanted to attend the 2nd as well, outstanding!

The show was FANTASTIC!! John kept an audience of toddlers, 7 year old"s and adults engaged in his show for the entire show!! There were lots of laughs and "oohs and aahhhs" during the show and I'm so glad we chose him to perform at my daughters birthday party!! Thanks John!

John was a pleasure to work with. He was hilarious and all of our guests adults and kids alike loved his performance. It was great seeing the kids involved in the magic show and actually enjoying his jokes. I received a lot of compliments for him and was asked how they could book him for their next party. He was on the higher price scale but was definitely worth the extra money. He brought his own props and as promised stayed until all the kids had their poodle balloons. I would recommend him in a heartbeat to anyone looking for a funny, charming, punctual and enthusiastic performer. His magic show got an A+ from me and my guests.
