Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. I have been a carpenter for several years and can perform a wide varity of jobs. My favorite type of work is finish carpentry
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure you feel comfortible with who you hire, make sure they are qualified to do the work.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. The qualifications of the person doing my work. check references!
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. Relay all work you exspect to be done and have person doing the work put all estimates in writing, so there are no misunderstandings.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. The quality workmanship and pride, that comes with years of training and experiance.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Being able to take little or nothing and making it into something nice.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The questions asked the most are ; How and where did i received my training? Also why i enjoy what i do? My answers are i went through an apprenticeship program in Northen Ca. I enjoy what im doing because i can see projects go from little or nothing to something special. Most of the time i get to see the finished projects
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I have worked on so many beautiful homes and buildings in my life that it would be hard to pick just one.
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. That there are honest and skilled tradesman to be found ! Do your homework before hiring a contractor.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. When i was in high school i liked to build things .
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. Because of all the rain this past summer i have done a few basements,All of which turned out very nice.
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. I subscribe to several trade magizines
Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?
A. There are new products that save energy, products to help fight mold and mildew ,lighter stronger products to save time and money during building. New products are comming out all the time.
Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.
A. Basement job ; Framing,drywall and tape,new grid ceiling,ceramic tile, trim, some electrical added cost for material and labor $ 7,500 length of job 3 weeks
