- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The first call is always complimentary. We then work either hourly or we will quote a fee per project. This is beneficial to the client so that there is a realistic budget and a cap on expenses. Our typical hourly rates range from 90.00 - 125.00 per hour.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I like to start with a complimentary phone call to get to know each other a bit and to see if we are a good fit for each other. Once I have a better idea of what the potential new client is looking for we can put together a proposal based on a broader scope of services. We evaluate each consulting opportunity individually. Some people might just need a little coaching and advising and others need us to function as project managers. We are flexible.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
We are all seasoned veterans of the food industry. I started a catering company as a young entrepreneur and built it into a 2M brand before selling and transitioning to consulting. I have also worked in a number of restaurants. We attend leading tradeshows and industry conferences; read almost everything I can about our industry; attend webinars of interest and stay on top of the industry best practices and standards. Oh yes ... we all love food! It's our passion ... we cook, dine-out and love to discuss food and the food biz at any opportunity.
