Projects that we perform are additions, bathroom design, bathroom remodeling, kitchen design, kitchen remodeling, basement design, basement remodeling, granite tops, marblestone, interior painting, exterior painting, roofing, siding replacement, window replacement, and door replacement.

We have been in business for 25 years and we are going strong; 95% of our work comes from referrals. We have many certifications, and we are EPA certified.

As a company, we volunteer at local charities and mentor young men. We believe that giving back to communities helps us build stronger relationships with our clients and vendors. We feel that our customers love working with us because we are family-run business and make them feel comfortable that they made the right decision in their hire.

We understand that in today's economy, value is the most important item our clients want. We help in this process by offering many services that help minimize the purchasing and travel time necessary for any remodeling project.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Great contractors have great insurance, they will always have a copy for your review, Workmen's compensation is something all great contractors have. Get the insurance agents name and number and verify the limits and if the policy is good still. In todays economy many are getting rid of insurance and especially workmen's compensation. Also contractors that are members at Chamber of Commerce, NKBA, Nari and other trade associations have Ethics codes and regulations that they must follow. Finally it is ultimately going to come down to do you feel comfortable with them in your house.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Why are project quotes all over the road? In todays economy pricing is from one extreme to antoher. The big difference in pricing is mainly labor cost, companies like mine have excellent insurance, employees, training classes, Marketing cost. These are fixed numbers which cost us money to make sure you are getting the best value for your dollar. With unemployment so high everyone becomes a trades person(Side job Bob) they carry little insurance or none, little or no training(Certifications), little or no experience, little or no marketing.

A. How long have you been in business?
Are you a member of any associations?
Do you have a copy of your Insurance?
May I go to your past clients house to look at your work?
What is the process for a remodeling project?
If I have issues with whom will I be talking to?
Will there be one contact person or many?
Are you or your sub contractors licensed? (Plumbers, Electricians)
