- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I hold a Bachelor's of Arts in Human Services. My education in this field emphasizes the importance of proper documentation and as a result I am equipped to handle a variety formatting requirements to meet a customer's needs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I learned to type in high school on a manual typewriter and have always loved language and being creative. My first job was as a policy typist with an insurance company. I sought to obtain other employment and increase my knowledge base through education and have always worked in an administrative support capacity.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with senior level management providing administrative support as well as with an entrepreneurial writer who needed promotional pieces for her books. She has since gone on to having one of them produced as a feature film. I have also worked to create promotional pieces for non-profit organizations to advertise their fund raising events and/or community events.
