Ahmad was SO helpful in assessing my toilet issues and - from start to finish - had gone to the store, shared some recommendations for other future projects, and installed my new toilet within 90 minutes. I definitely didn’t expect it to be done that quickly; plus, he repaired some caulking in my shower and installed another toilet seat in my other bathroom. Honestly? Best experience I’ve had on Thumbtack so far. The only qualm I had is with the Thumbtack app; l found out that Thumbtack charges every contractor $35 every time a potential customer even ASKS for a quote (even if they don’t get selected). I do not support this practice, as it’s putting so many independent contractors at a loss, even without guarantee of work. If they were selected as the person to complete the job? I could MAYBE understand if they did that. That said, I want to reiterate that Ahmad did a WONDERFUL job; I’m very thrilled to make the connection him and will be using him on other jobs down the line, without a doubt. (Not via Thumbtack, though). THANK YOU, AHMAD!
