We needed architectural drawings for lintel replacement at our Lakeview six-flat (Chicago Code requirement). Dan provided the drawings quickly and at a reasonable price. He also talked to our contractor several times to make sure everything was being done properly. I'd gladly use him again if we need an architect.

We first worked with Dan 15 years ago, when he designed a beautiful new stairway connecting two apartments in New York. We couldn't have been happier. So when it was time to do a major renovation to our rundown 100-year-old farmhouse, we gave the project to Dan again. His plans for the project are smart and innovative, and respected our edict to maintain the essential farmhouse character of the home while also making it as "green" as possible. He has combined some rooms, increased access to others, and opened up the back of the house. We plan to begin the project this winter and can't wait to move into the newly conceived place.

Dan Miller went the extra mile to figure out all the new LIVE WORK ORDINANCE rules. He helped me navigate City Hall as well as had creative and flexible ideas for our 100 year old bakery space in Pilsen. I highly recommend him as do my friends who are actual architects!

This is our second time working with Dan. As in the first instance, we sat down together and talked about what we wanted in our remodel and he worked with us to develop the plan that suited our interests yet incorporated his creative talents. We love his designs. We highly recommend him for any new construction or renovation plans.

Dan Miller Architects did the plans and oversaw construction on my 2-flat conversion into single family home. It was a great experience. Everyday I come home and enjoy the space created for me and my family. Excellent work! I highly recommend.
