Joe painted a 16X20 oil on canvas scene of our old cabin in N WI. Was kind of a rush job (late anniversary idea) and Joe was very easy to work with. My wife and I both loved how the picture turned out. Would recommend Joe highly.

He did an okay job on my grandfather's portrait. It look like a caricature you can get a carnival. I made the mistake of not asking for previous work. I did not see his portfolio. I have had better work done for me in the past. Sad to say, this is going into the closet and staying there.

Wow. I’m surprised by Daniel’s response here. Both online and in person, he told me “looks good” and nothing else. I’m not sure what his expectations were from this postcard sized pencil sketch, but if he had expressed any of the aforementioned concerns previously, I would have offered to redo the entire drawing or even a refund. Sad to say, but I cannot offer that now. Really he should stick with the carnival because that’s where to find the other clowns.
