Windy City Rods and Restorations is a classic car shop located in Niles, Il. We Restore classic American cars from the 1950s to 2011. This includes Chevy, Ford, Chrysler, Dodge, Oldsmobile, Plymouth, Pontiac, Cadillac, and many more!
We have a complete body shop in house, and we can do everything: paint matching, body work, complete body repair, body kits, custom paint, you name it. We have over 50 years of combined experience working with classic cars. We also store all kinds of car, truck, motorcycle, ATV, etc. for a very affordable rate.
Our on staff techs can handle any kind of work you require, such as axle swaps, motor swaps, drum to disc conversion, and diagnosing any problems you may have. We even offer free diagnosis of any problem.

Massive classic car storage area which now looks like a American Classic Car Museum. This Niles warehouse is affordable heated and best of all Month to Month. Will be great to watch it grow into a new full service restoration facility

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Most people who bring us cars, have a great wealth of knowledge, but do not always have the resources to be able to bring their goals to life. So only thing I would want to know if I was a customer would be the most information I could gather on my car.

Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Being able to work with classic cars everyday is the highlight of my day! Being able to help in the process of restoring classic cars, drives me to get up everyday and come into work. Helping out those who have a passion for that era of cars is only thing I can ask for.
