Where do I even start? I have worked alongside Delcia in the bridal industry and she has also tailored MANY MANY pieces for me. Delcia did absolutely amazing work on my wedding dress. I had flown in for alterations and was prepared to make a second trip if needed, but the dress fit perfectly after one round. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Pricing varies with the complexity of the project, but I offer flat rate services starting at $250
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Initial consultations generally happen via phone or email to determine the general scope of the project. After, a first fitting and consultation will be scheduled to take measurements or test fit ready made garments. Recommended steps and price quote are given at this first consultation. Payment for services due at the end this appointment with service agreement. General bridal alterations timeline is twelve weeks and includes three fittings and a pickup.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a bachelor's degree in fashion merchandising, an associates degree in my fashion design and twenty years of fashion design and alterations experience.
