Introduction: Greetings and salutations! I tutor with one goal: to help you learn in layman's terms. I do this because I want to make a difference! I'm an instructor of young adults, adults, and senior citizens, with emphasis on teaching the basics of computers, e-mail, and the Internet. My goal is to teach people to use computers by maximizing the time spent, which will increase overall efficiency. I believe that the way to learn and master a subject is by being involved with the equipment and real-life troubleshooting scenarios that means hands-on training and projects to complete for a better understanding of the material and subject matter. My job is to provide you with skills and knowledge to use computers and applications to get the job done and have you feel confident that you can do the same work on your own. I don't have a teaching degree, but I do have five years' experience at nonprofit organizations and one year at a profit organization, teaching computer skills. In other words, my experience compensates. I am a graduate of Computer Systems Institute and hold my CompTia A+, Network+, and MCP (Microsoft Certified Professional) certifications. I have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interface with individuals across a diverse range of social backgrounds and cultures. My tutoring style could be best summarized as straightforward and to the point and very hands-on.
