- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Not every venue has the same acoustics, sound equipment needs, scheduled load-in or tear-down times, or house requirements. Each event may have varying degrees of preparation, setup time, equipment, or services. It also depends on whether I need assistants and their availability, or even if the possibility of future bookings are present. There are so many factors and variables that go into a quote. Thus, I urge for a no-obligation meeting so that we get to know and learn more about each other, needs, likes, dislikes, expectations, goals, and budget.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes! I attend conferences and seminars as often as possible. As a local charter board member of the American Disc Jockey Association, I also educate my colleagues!
