Introduction: DJ Kool Ant is a 21-year veteran in the game of DJing and comes from a family of DJs. He began his career in Chicago assisting family during their DJ gigs. He continued honing his craft after moving to Florida where he attended Florida A&M University. While there, he was a Def Jam Rep and took things further by becoming an on-air personality and mixer at Hot 105.7, then 96.1 Jamz, XM Satellite channel 65. While in Florida, he established lasting relationships with many artists and music industry professionals of all genres. His love of music dates back to the early '90s where he was inspired by East Coast, Deep South, reggae, and house styles of music. He credits legendary DJ Worldwide for guidance, encouragement and inspiration. DJ Kool Ant has been the fun commander for 1,000's of rocking night clubs, private parties, weddings, concerts, and celebrity events worldwide. He has an eye for talent and an ear that can hear a hit miles away. With several mixtapes under his belt, music continues to be a driving force in his life, and striving for excellence remains a top priority.
