Introduction: Born and raised in Russia and a native speaker of Russian, I hold a Master of Arts degree in Spanish Language and Literature from Middlebury College Language Schools (Middlebury, Vermont, United States). As a professional linguist, for the past 15 years I have been teaching both Russian and Spanish, working as an editor of both languages for one of the top educational publishers in the United States, and providing freelance translation and editorial services for such organizations and companies as Encyclopaedia Britannica, The McGraw-Hill Companies, TimeOut Moscow magazine, Youth-Leader Magazine (UNESCO), The IRIS Center, Verbal Ink, and VerbalizeIt.
