Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: Not only do I train movements and muscles, I am experienced in assisted stretching techniques, myofascial release and trigger point therapy. These three techniques improve flexibility, mobility and minimize soreness caused by exercise. Helping client and friend feel good about their bodies. I recently started community work around fitness training. It feels good to give back.

Barry is a fabulous trainer. He's admirably fit himself, firstly, which interestingly enough is not true of all trainers. He is extremely knowledgeable about the science and techniques related to his craft to the degree that I have encouraged him to publish his insights. He takes a creative, nuanced to make sure your workout works for you, but he also trains you hard without killing you. He's not overbearing, which I hate in trainers. He's just extremely competent, and his results are inspiring to his trainees. That's what makes him effective. I'm just sorry he left DC. If I was in Chicago, I'd be in his studio. He is THE VERY best trainer I have ever worked with......Don't miss the opportunity to work with him.

Barry is a rock star! When I started working out with him I couldn't do a lunge due to knee issues. He helped strengthen the knee and now I am lifting weights and doing exercises I never thought I would do again. He is helping me transform my body. He is knowledgable and attentive. I saw results in the first month. I have some work to do, but with his help I know I'll achieve my goals.

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

Because I train at different facilities and different locations (on site vs gym or studio) prices vary. Clients who train more frequently get better discounts and often quick results versus clients who train once a week.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Personal Training is just as the name implies; personal. Your trainer should tailor your workout to your strengths and abilities. One of the advantages of personal training over group training is the one on one specialization giving by a skilled trainer.
