FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After recently earning my Bachelor's of Fine Arts Degree from Columbia College Chicago last fall, I have been keeping up with design trends by actively updating my online portfolio and browsing inspiration on sites like Pinterest, Behance, Dribbble and creative blogs.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I've always been into action sports like snowboarding, skateboarding, biking, surfing, the list goes on. So when I was young I would always find myself doodling and sketching the logos of these action sports companies I followed so closely. My eyes were always glued to one of these types of magazines which is where a lot of my design aesthetic stems from. As I got older and realized I was not gonna be a professional snowboarder I wanted to find a way to utilize my creativity while keeping close to this type of industry. Considering the digital world we live in today, I knew graphic design was the perfect path for me.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
The most common types of jobs include logo design, poster design, publication design, package design, some web design, but mostly print.
