- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Flat rate of labor depending on sizes of event. Is definitely negotiatable and will travel with free consultation. Corsage: $8 (2 for $12) Single bouquet or centerpiece: $10 Small: $30 Medium: $50 Large: $75 Delivery: $6 anywhere in Chicago & surrounding suburbs Will not include flower prices & any special materials (I.e. Ribbon that's not basic colors.. Or something I have to order etc..) I will strive to make it as affordable as possible. Small down payment needed at time of consultation (1/4 of final price) payment of flowers is needed at 50% time between consultation & events or four to six weeks before event whichever sooner. However! This does depend on what the event is. I would feel this is all average times.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Discuss initial consultation (location, time & & intial ideas) At consultation. Ask in detail what they would like (pictures ideas & other) Show them prices from three sources I can retrieve flowers. (Store or warehouse) If all goes well....Give the customer contract with all details to sign & fill out with final price. Design piece(s) 2-3 days before event or at customers' request & store in fridge. (Will get a picture for approval before any final touches) Deliver flowers to event & set-up if needed.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Local workshops and attending flower shows. I have an online certificate for Floral Design at Stafford Career Institute & & working for a certificate in Floral Design at Triton College. I am still a student but I will work to give you the best flowers as much as possible.
