Bob Davis Guitar

My name is Bob Davis, and I have been playing guitar professionally for 35 years. I studied instrumental performance and arranging and composition at Berklee College of Music in Boston, MA. While in Boston, I studied privately with Charlie Banacos. I performed with Patty Smyth and Scandal, John Waite, and Robert Irving III (producer and keyboardist for Miles Davis). While living in New York City, I had my own guitar column for 2 years in Guitar World magazine. I was also a staff writer for Nile Rodgers Productions, working on 24 different records, including such artists as Diana Ross, David Bowie (w/ Stevie Ray Vaughn), Al Jarreau, Duran Duran, and Jeff Beck. I currently have a record deal, and I am a co-leader of my own band, Lake Effect, on Big Deal Records. I can take beginning through advanced students, and require you be willing to practice diligently.
