Guitar Chicago is a school in Chicago's Loop which provides private guitar and piano lessons as well as group instruction. Lessons are provided in a friendly and open atmosphere and are available as either private lessons for 1-2 students or small group classes for up to 10 students.
We provide the instruments and a comfortable facility to play in, so all you got to do is walk over and get started. Guitar Chicago is available to students of all abilities and ages. We seek to arm the students with knowledge about their instrument and music theory then teach them how to apply those skills toward learning new songs, or writing their own!
Our instructors have been selected out of nearly one hundred applicants, so we are proud to provide instructors that not only know the instrument but are also effective communicators and outstanding teachers.
Lessons are available for acoustic, electric, lead, rhythm, bass and slide guitar as well as in song writing, song learning and music theory. All genres are welcome including classical, modern, pop, jazz, rock, R&B, metal, country and blues!
