Introduction: I believe that true design does not appear from anywhere. In the beginning, it is a combination of a desire to satisfy a certain function. It is also something that is not as easy to grasp a concept. I am convinced that it is absolutely important that each design does not only aim at answering its practical purpose, but also that the whole process is driven by a powerful concept.
It is only then the outcome has a meaning, it conveys an idea, it is never the same and it looks fascinating. I am inspired by interiors that are able to communicate that initial concept to the recipient. While communication may take many forms, it is essential that it is not literal.
Usually, it is most successful when it is subtle and blended into the forms, colors and other elements seamlessly- creating a visual and psychological experience that is perceived and understood almost on a subconscious level.
