Introduction: Watch repairs include: * Overhauls It includes cleaning and lubricating of the movement, case and band. We also replace worn gaskets and additional parts as necessary. Timing is everything. We have the latest equipment to regulate your time piece. * Dial Refinish This is necessary when your dial is discolored or peeling. Your original dial is stripped and repainted to look like new. This service is provided for vintage and antique watches. Keep in mind that this service is time consuming and turnaround time is approximately 3-6 weeks. * Batteries We promptly change dead batteries as they can leak and cause damage to the watch movement. Pulling out the crown does not stop the watch from running. Rather, it only stops the hands from turning. The beauty of a quartz watch is that whenever you pick it up, it is on time! We have all watch batteries, even the hard to find ones. We also carry capacitors for Accutron and solar watches. * Crystals We have a large selection of crystals including plastic, glass and black border. We also can cut crystals. Only plastic crystals can be polished while glass crystals that are scratched must be replaced. Replacing a crystal will make your watch look like new. Jewelry repairs include: * Ring Sizing Getting the proper size for your ring can be tricky. Let our experts walk you through it. There are many factors to consider. They are the following: • Fingers can swell depending on diet, medications and weather • Width of the ring • Solid or hollowed out Additionally, to alleviate the problem of turning, we can install a temporary ring guard or solder cleats inside the shank. * Prong Re-tipping Don't loose your stone! Once every six months, you should have your rings inspected and cleaned. Everyday wear and tear can wear down prongs. Minor repairs could save you a major headache. * Soldering We can fix it! Chains, bracelets, rings, earrings and even eyeglasses (sometimes) can be welded and repaired. We do white gold, yellow gold, 10kt, 14kt and 18kt, rose gold, platinum, silver, and lead. (Lead soldering is often used to repair costume jewelry.) Each item is examined and repaired with the highest quality materials and expertise. We do it all. * Stone Replacement Yes, we can match your stones! Whether you lost one earring, a side stone from your engagement ring or a gemstone from that bracelet you have been wearing constantly for years, yes, we can match, supply and set a replacement. From our large inventory of diamonds, gemstones, imitation stones in house and from our supply base, we will be sure to get that perfect match. * Pearl Restringing Don't loose a bead. Restring before it breaks. Today’s high-fashion bead jewelry needs maintenance. Bead, crystal and pearl bracelets, necklaces and earrings can be repaired. Please note that since this is a specialty service, approximately three weeks is required for turnaround. So please plan accordingly. Rush service is available for additional charge.
