Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Mike O’Donnell has over 20 years of experience entertaining audiences with his magic and witty personality. He has been the house magician for the past two years, performing every Monday at a locally owned restaurant in Lincoln Park called Four Farthings. Mike was recently featured on Living Social as their premiere magician for the Chicago area. His magic is designed to entertain both children and adults. All of his material is appropriate, professional, and will not embarrass your guests. Mike has performed for numerous celebrities as well as the Seattle SuperSonics, Seattle Mariners, and the Oklahoma City Thunder numerous times for their banquets and fan appreciation events. His magic is quick, visual, engages the guests, and above all, it is highly entertaining.
Typically, the best plan is to walk from table to table/guest to guest and perform a “mini-show.” This mini-show is basically a private show that is very intimate and will not interrupt the flow of the event. He works out of his pockets, which means that no stage is needed and does not take up any space. This style of magic is great for banquets, company/private parties, while the guests are mingling, and during the cocktail portion of the event.
Mike also offers a stage show where all of the guests would be entertained as a whole. This is ideal for those events where they reserve the entire room. The stage show combines magic with modern psychology. The guests will be astonished by his pseudo mind-reading ability and slieght of hand magic.
