I had an incredible experience working with Megg. She did my hair and makeup for my most recent headshots, and while I was hesitant to have someone else do my makeup (I've always done my own for previous shoots), I was SO GLAD I hired Megg! She pointed out details that I hadn't considered, like how lip colors would look against the backgrounds we were using, how my mascara would photograph in close-ups...and she stayed for the whole 4-hour shoot to fix stray hairs, tuck in my bra strap if it fell out, and just make sure I looked good the whole time. I can't recommend her highly enough. She was professional, thorough, and asked me detailed questions about how I normally did my makeup and how I wanted to look. I even ended up going makeup shopping after the shoot to find some of the products/colors she had used on me! My makeup looked natural but still enhanced my better features while hiding the not-so-great ones. The best part of it all is how reasonable her prices are. You could easily pay twice as much for someone less skilled. I can't wait to have Megg do my makeup for my next event or photo shoot!

Megg recently did my make up for my civil union and I was stunned at how natural it looked. For the consult she came to my condo, we had a hoot, and she even evaluated my skin and suggested moisturizers and soaps to "prep" for the big day. My partner was in the midst of a panic attack and Megg's calming demeanor really made it easier to deal with a case of the,"OMG, I'M GETTING MARRIED IN 10 MINS!!!!!" jitters. Thank you, Megg, for everything.

I'm so glad that that Megg did my makeup for my engagement shoot. I always get nervous when someone else does my makeup, as my skin can be sensitive at times, but Megg really put me at ease. She was so accommodating and made sure she addressed all of my concerns before getting to work. I knew I was in the right hands! Megg perfected the natural look I feel most beautiful and comfortable in, while still ensuring my makeup would look awesome through the photographer's lens. Plus, she made sure I was happy with the end product - which is a plus in my book! I can't recommend Megg enough!

Most of my work is for the camera. I work with actors for their headshots as well as business professionals for theirs. Business shots can be used for your website or for LinkedIn. I also love to work with brides and their wedding parties!
What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Look at everyone's portfolios!! Everyone has strengths and weaknesses. Choose someone who's work most closely matches your esthetic.
