FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My prices are based on the duration of the session. I see clients for 30 minutes ($50), 60 minutes ($80), and 90 minutes ($110). In order to save you money, I also offer a once-a-month massage at a discount price. Additionally, if you're coming to me for a specific problematic area which will require a number of sessions, I also offer you the option of purchasing a package of sessions at a discounted rate. I also offer reduced rates for cancer survivors and first responders on a case-by-case basis.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I take continuing education courses as often as I'm able. When I'm not in class, I'm constantly reading various massage publications and manuals. There's always going to be something to learn about the human body and how massage and different types of bodywork impacts it.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It sounds kind of clichÃÂÃÂÃÂéd, but I became a massage therapist because I wanted to try to help people. We all have an innate desire to help people. Some do it through volunteering (which I do regularly), I do it through massage.
