Introduction: I tutor for junior high and high school math or science. I specialize in ACT tutoring, with my typical student improving two to three points for overall ACT score and a few improving five to eight points overall! I enjoy working one-on-one with students and seeing the progress.
I live on the north side of Chicago, so I generally tutor in that area along with the near north/northwest suburbs.

John is like a family member to our family and has been tutoring my girls for about 6 years or so on subject courses as well as ACT prep sessions.. He started tutoring my oldest when she was in high school. Thanks to John's expertise teaching skills with his ACT prep tutoring sessions, my daughter's ACT test score jumped to 8 points from her pre-test score. My youngest daughter is now taking ACT prep sessions with John and gains more and more confidence after each session with John..
John possesses a positive and enthusiastic personality. He has a great rapport with my daughters and is articulate. There was a significant increase in my daughter’s scores from the time John started working with her. It was a relaxed and comfortable work environment while covering a lot of material in each session. We would highly recommend John to anyone looking to increase their standardize test grades.

John is outstanding tutor for the ACT and math. John customized an ACT prep program specific to our needs. It is heavy on the math as that is the biggest need. He also is providing tutoring for math. My daughter enjoys working with him and learns at every session. Her confidence has increased and her math grade has as well. I highly recommend John.
