Introduction: I was one of those students who always got As and Bs in math. But I had to work at it and study the textbook in order to get it. I find this helps me to break a math concept down. I like when I see the bulb goes off and the student gets it.

As an older student I was struggling with math in a college setting and even the remedial program seemed to be Greek to me. I was referred to Mr. Poppenhouse and almost immediately my basic understanding grew and gave me a core knowledge that I had been missing. His friendly manner and open view of math processes allowed him to use different perspectives to get the point across and math the material useful for my classes and my own understanding. Well worth the investment and all I can say is thanks Kurt.
