- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
Jim believes that any client that invests in bringing him to an event should use him for not only the keynote but breakouts, board of director meetings, etc. His fees are all inclusive. Local events in the Chicago area are the most cost effective. However Jim believes that your 'investment' in his presentation should deliver a high ROI. You might find a speaker that will present for less but you won't find anyone that can deliver more. Don't let what you think you know prevent you from learning what you need to know. In addition he offers coaching, webinars, on site solutions, etc. Jim makes a effort to engage as many organizations as possible that have reasonable budgets for this highly sought after speaker. - What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Shifts take place within the first meeting. Jim works with both large and small organizations. He understands budget constraints. - What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
After attending law school Jim earned his MBA. Since that time he also earned almost a dozen certifications and awards. Jim attends dozens of trade shows a year and listens to other speakers. He reads a variety of magazines a week, and remains a continual student of 'shifts' in the world. He is an active member of many professional associations to learn more about industry trends. Jim has been awarded the prestigious Certified Speaking Professional by the National Speakers Association. It is the highest earned designation in the speaking profession. In addition Jim was the first speaker to receive the Platform Certified Speaking award from the International Platform Association. Jim has also earned several other certifications and is now known as the guy with the most letters after his name...EIEIO...seriously lots of associations have awarded their top certification to this 'go getter.'
