    I was given an excellent quote and was well on my way to hiring this company. They were prompt with their responses and easy to deal with, but all of a sudden they decided to ignore all of my attempts to contact them. I even asked for them to just respond if they were retracting their bid or unable to work with me, but they even refused that courtesy. I am very frustrated and feel duped by their inconsideration and lies. No one should work with a company like that.

    We had hired Chicago Express from craigslist for our move to Chicago downtown from the suburbs. They had done a excellent job, with not a single item broken. And we really appreciated the fact that they tried their best reduce the total time instead of increasing it to get more money. They even finished the job an hour earlier than estimate time of 3 hrs. We will surely recommend them & hire them again in future.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask for references. Many customers believe, especially the first timers, that all a mover needs, is to be licensed and insured. Fact. Some of the worst reviews come from customers from the “big” moving companies. Always ask for references. Plain and simple.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Absolutely. Always try and get the first slot available. Reason: Things happen. That’s just it. And if you’re on a tight schedule you should always try and get the first spot. Try and get the first spot regardless. Insider secret #1.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. First a customer should make sure ANY professional has references. They should defenitely have a website and a Yelp account as well.
