Sorry this pro can’t do your job, but we know other pros who can.
Introduction: I have a Masters Degree in Film Composition and 15 years experience in composing, performance, and the recording industry. I believe my experiences can bring many different approaches to your music education. Music Theory is very important, and is taught from the first day that while you work on your pieces. I try to incorporate a fun approach as well, either through iPad apps, outside musical games, and even group events. However, I also emphasize that determination and hard work are the key components in making the fun happen. I like that my families treat me as a family member and not just as a guy who comes in to teach and leave. I feel that I am very personable, and a lot of my clients appreciate that. I also like moving throughout the day. No single day is ever stagnant!

FAQs

  • What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?

My pricing system is $30/half hour lesson per child. All clients pay for the entire month at the beginning of each month.

  • What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?

Respect the instructor's policy to the tee. A lot of us are running around all day and appreciate customers who understand that this is a business. Sometimes unexpected things may happen, i.e. sickness or family emergency, but a good instructor will understand those situations and try to make up a lesson if need be.

  • What questions should customers think through before talking to professionals about their project?

I want customers to understand how hard I work each day to build an appreciation for the arts in my students. I not only wear a teacher's hat, but also that of a therapist, a coordinator, a big brother, a shoulder to cry on, or just an ear to listen when someone has a bad day. Sometimes, I also can end up being the person a student takes there frustrations out on if they are having a bad day. Some days can be sad, but all in all, I try to be as professional as I can, and do my job to the best of my ability.
