- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
There are 3 main types of lessons: *Basic Theory (harmony, form, counterpoint, etc) - $20 per hour *Orchestration - $25 per hour *Electronic Music Production (musique concrete, noise, avante-garde, techno, ambient, or EDM etc) - $20 per hour In addition to these main three, more specific subjects can be taught once I feel you are ready to take them on. The fees stack on top of those listed above. As much as half the lessons (30 minutes) can be spent on these specifics: **Ear Training - $10 additional per hour lesson (Focus is on Gordon system of rhythm, movable Do solfege sight-singing and reading, melodic and 2 tone harmonic interval identification up to the octave both descending and ascending with random root. Those with more developed ears will get 3+ tone chord and arpeggio identification, Triad, and later, extended chord inversions identification, etc). Engraving and Sibelius/Finale - $5 additional per hour lesson **Score Reading Techniques - $5 additional per hour lesson **Sample and MIDI/DAW programming - $10 additional per hour lesson **Basic Mixing and Mastering technique - $5 additional per hour lesson **Synthesizer programming - $5 additional per hour lesson
