Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. The best advice I can give to a customer who is seeking a General Contractor is to have the GC show them their liscence and Insurance. If the person says they are bonded, then have them show you a copy of the bond. I travel with a copy of my liscence and insurance because it shows that I am legitimate.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. If I were a customer, I would want to know how long the professional has been in business and who works for him. At You've Got a Guy, Inc. we have a small crew (ten men, one woman, and a dog). All of our workers have had criminal background checks and drug tests. I have been in business for myself since 2000 and as You've Got a Guy, Inc since 2008.
