Wow, where do I even start? Our wedding was in Lake Como, and we live in Chicago, so you can imagine the stress and chaos that comes with planning a destination wedding like that. But thanks to Barbara of BWeddings and Anna of The Italian Bride, it was an absolute dream come true! From day one, they had us covered. They handled everything from coordinating with vendors to setting up the whole shebang before the big day. And let me tell you, they were like wedding ninjas making sure everything was on point and running like clockwork. On the actual day of the wedding, they were like our personal timekeepers, making sure we didn't lose track of time and could fully enjoy the moment. Plus, they even took care of packing up our stuff at the end of the night, so we didn't have to play a game of hide-and-seek with our belongings. The result? Well, I've had multiple people tell me that our wedding was the best they've ever been to, and that's saying something! I mean, I couldn't have asked for anything more. So, if you're thinking about hiring a wedding planner, do yourself a favor and go with these guys. They're the real deal, and I can't recommend them enough! 🎉💍🥂

When my husband and I chose to have a destination wedding in Italy we knew that we had to find a wedding planner as soon as possible. After meeting Barbara over Zoom we instantly knew we wanted to work with Bweddings to make our dream wedding come to life. Throughout the entire planning process Bweddings provided us with amazing vendor options, a step by step checklist, endless advice/support and so much more. Our wedding planning process was so easy thanks to Barbara! Our wedding day was better than we ever could have imagined. It was perfect. Everything went smoothly, the timeline was followed and I was relaxed knowing everything was being taken care of. There's not one thing I would change about our wedding. The scenery, food, cocktails, music, flowers (everything) was fantastic. Bweddings helped us find the best vendors that worked with our budget. I can not recommend Bweddings enough and I am so grateful we found them. I appreciate everything Barbara and Anna did for our wedding - big & small it did not go unnoticed.

Barbara and her team were amazing in making our vision come true for our wedding. Barbara helped us from picking out the venue all the way to set up and break down on the day of the wedding. She also did so much more work in the background communicating to different vendors and arranging timeline to make sure everything was coming together properly. Barbara's team sets a gold star standard bar in the wedding planning industry. With a short timeline to plan our wedding reception after a destination elopement, we looked to her for an ala carte, "the day of planning" services. She went over and beyond from helping with vendor selections, web site creation, invitations tracking and all the other little details we didn't think of that are easily overlooked. Her beautiful, creative design sense also helped us put together a perfect vibe for the venue for our memorable, special day. We feel very blessed to have found her to help us navigate through the planning stage leading up to our big day. She was spot on when she told us in the beginning “ All you have to do is show up and have fun! “ That’s exactly what happened, we didn’t have to worry about a thing. What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Barbara started out as a personal Chef in Italy, planning and organizing many small private events. In 2014, she graduated from the Wedding Planner Institute of Canada and in 2019 became a Marriage Minister. Since then Barbara has added a number of different colleagues to her team with varying backgrounds and experiences.
