Leash Etiquette -- All DDI walkers follow "leash etiquette" standards, teaching and reinforcing proper walking techniques and establishing boundaries. The dog is walked to these standards and the technique is shared with the owner. This means that DDI dogs do not aimlessly parade around city streets with limited direction, allowing the dog to pull on the leash and the walker to carry on a random cell phone conversation.
Distance Tracking -- All DDI walkers wear a pedometer to track their walking time. There is no more guessing whether the dog has gone around the block or just out the door. DDI walks provide more than just an opportunity for daily output. Anecdotal notes left by the walker also include insight into behavioral and training issues. DDI is the first Chicago-based company to create an innovative walker tracking system.
More Than Just a Walk -- DDI time with canine clients is interactive and purposeful. Owners report less anxiety, aggression, and other bad behavior from their canine companion.
