I offer dog walking in downtown Chicago, starting from $11 for 30 minutes!

I offer dog sitting in either your home or mine. There are no other animals in my home, and I only take one dog at a time, so there is no danger of confrontation.

I offer pet vacation care for dogs (4 daily visits), cats (2 daily visits), other small mammals (daily or alternate day visits). This includes feeding, water, walks, play time, litter change, bedding change, or any other required activities. These visits can be tailor made to your pet's needs!

If you need me to bring in the mail and water plants, then I will happily do this for free!

I am fully insured with Pet Sitters Associates. I work alone, ensuring quality service. I only walk dogs one at a time, so your pet has my undivided attention. If you have more than one dog, walks will be done together, unless otherwise directed.

    Kara is so kind with animals. My dog lily loves her and gets so excited every time she comes to visit. She's so sweet with animals and genuinely loves them. Plus you can't beat that great Welch accent.

    Kara, is an exceptional dog sitter! She watched my dog as if it were her own dog for 3 nights. She took fantastic care of her and even posted pics of her to me via text, so I wouldn't feel so far away. I plan on asking Kara to take on some dog walks during the week, especially since my dog loved her so much! And I know my dog is looking forward to my next trip out of town, so she can see her favorite dog sitter - K9 Kara!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Look for somebody who is local to you, especially when hiring a long-term dog walker. You need to know that they are able to get to you in extreme weather and are not going to get stuck in the Chicago snow storms or have a "car crisis"!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Where are you located?
What times are you available?
Do you have any vacations booked?
Do you have someone who can cover you during vacations?
Will my dog be walked individually or as a group?
Will my dog be in contact with any other animals?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. As I work alone, your pet is guaranteed to have the same walker daily which will allow us to build a solid bond. I don't perform "herd walks" and so your pet will have my undivided attention. Above all I am a genuine animal lover who will treat your pet like it is my own.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I moved to Chicago from the UK a few months back and I had to leave my beloved dog with my parent's as she is far too old to travel now. I miss her dearly and have always had a love of animals so I decided to start taking care of other people's pets.

I absolutely love it. I love the time I get to spend with the animals and I love how happy they are to see me arrive.

A. Dog walking: $11 for 30min, $18 for 60min (9am-5pm)
Dog walking: $13 for 30min, $20 for 60min (5pm-9pm)
Outside these hours and weekends: $15 and $22
For additional dogs add $2 per walk.

Dog sitting at dog owner's property: $50 per night, $40 per night for 3+ nights.
No extra charge for additional animals.

One off sitting at my property: $50 for 24hrs

Vacation care in Streeterville and surrounding area:
Dogs - 4 daily visits including all care + 4 walks: $50
Cats - 2 daily visits including all care + playtime: $20
Small mammals - $10 per visit
Vacation care can be edited to your pet's needs.
