Introduction: I am teaching adult beginners. I provide in-home piano lessons. I teach beginners to advanced students (ages 4 to 75+). I also teach students with special needs. I customize an individual program to suit the needs of every piano student. I also offer one-on-one instruction or tutoring in: * Music theory * Composition * Songwriting * Music history My students stay with me for years, and I still teach many of my first students to this day. Many of my students say that I know more about music than anyone they know, and that's probably because I view (music) education as a never-ending process of discovery, assimilation, forgetting, relearning and fun. I'm patient, and I demand the same patience from my students. The most pervasive lesson I teach is for students to be patient with themselves, and to never settle for any less than the best they can manage.
