Dr. Yulia Lpmanovich is a Russian born concert pianist and distinguished piano teacher. She has appeared in major concert halls as a soloist, with orchestras and chamber groups throughout Russia, Israel, Europe and in such prestigious venues in the United States such as Carnegie Hall, Steinway Hall and Alice Tully Hall in New York. Gave numerous Master Classes among them in Chicago, Italy, Thailand, Russia and in Israel . She has taught on the piano faculties of the Boston Conservatory, Boston College, Northeastern University, Daley College, and the Rubin Conservatory of Music in Jerusalem in Israel..
Dr. Lipmanovich is on a Piano Faculty at the Summer Music Festival of the Gulf in Italy at San Marco di Castellabate (Solerno ) since 2013 , held in August 17-26 each year and and is a Honorary President of the Jury of the "Madame Rosina Lhevinne Piano International Competition " held in Italy at San Marco every two years.
In 2015 Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich was appointed by the Juilliard School of Music in New York to teach Piano in the After School Arts with Juilliard Nord Anglia Performing Arts Program in the British International South Loop School in Chicago
In 2016 Dr.Yulia Lipmanovich was in Thailand in the Jury for the Thailand 6th Mozart International Piano Competition held in Bangkok Thailand and gave Master Classes and solo performances
Lipmanovich was studying with her mother, Madame Luba Lipmanovich-Yackobishvili, who was an outstanding pianist, a great teacher, Later with well known Russian pianist Tatiana Nickolayeva in Moscow Tchaickovsky Pre-Conservatory. Dr. Yulia Lipmanovich holds a Bachelor of Music Degree in Piano Performance from the Juilliard School of Music in New York, where she studied with Madame Rosina Lhevinne on a full scholarship. She was a protege student of Madame Rosina Lhevinne who brought her from Israel to Juilliard School. Yulia lived at Madame Rosina Lhevinne’s home and had a daily lessons with the legendary teacher. She received a Master's Degree from the Rubin Academy of Music of the Tel Aviv University, in Israel where she studied on a full scholarship awarded by the University. She was awarded her Doctorate in Piano Performance in 1998. from the University of Illinois in Champaign- Urbana Among her teachers were Anthony di Bonaventura, Rudolfo Caporally.
Lipmanovich has won the Piano Competition of the Soviet Composers (Moscow), and the Tenth Annual Young Artists International Competition (New York) where she was a winner from 300 contestants. She appeared with solo recitals in England and performed at Music Festivals at Durdington and St. Lewis. and ave numerous performances in London among them All Chopin Program at the Trinity Church and at Saint Martins in the Fields. She was recognized as an outstanding young performer and was named in the National Collegiate Academy Honorary Book as “Collegiate All-American Scholar”. When in Israel, she was a member of the “Trio Bor”, who were members of the Israel Philharmonic Orchestra and appeared in numerous concerts .She had appeared in Israel in concerts as a soloist with orchestras and in Solo recitals were for an audience Thirty Foreign Ambassadors were present, and performed on Radio and Television.
Dr. Yulia was performing in Russia Chopin Piano Concerto No 1 with the Kirov Philharmonic Symphony Orchestra with a Chief Conductor Maestro Valery Raevsky.
