FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have been doing this for 20+ years My prices may be a little higher but they are very competitive, given my level of experience. As far as discount opportunities, I host monthly "studio days" where you can book a 15 minute session with a fixed lighting set-up, digital proof album and 2 edited images. More edited images can be added on. This offer is only sent out through my email list, which you can sign up for through my website. When booking a wedding I offer a 30% discount on additional wedding-related shoots, within a year of the wedding including engagement, rehearsal dinner, family portraits, trash the dress, etc...
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I studied photography in middle school, high school and college, culminating with my BFA in photography in 2010 from UIC. I understand that the world of photography is constantly growing and transforming so I try to keep learning new techniques and approaches. I strive to know everything about my craft.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I actually started at the age of 12 through my local 4H photo club, which engrained in me a fundamental photographic knowledge that most photographers don't learn until high school or college.
