Word Why's

I have thirteen years experience as an early childhood special education teacher and kindergarten program assistant. I also have tutored students preschool to fifth grade in reading for the past three years. I got my degree from Illinois State University in Early Childhood Special education. In the last year, I have gotten my Esl endorsement. I have experience working with children with special needs and ELL learners. Some programs I am trained in are Wilson Reading System and Read Naturally. The Wade is a screening tool I use to let me know which book to place a student in. I believe learning should be hands on and meaningful to students. It should also be multi sensory.
