If you would like professional audio/sound/recordings at a very reasonable rate, I am the audio engineer for you. With years of experience in audio recording/editing and scoring for short films, commercials and music, I can help you obtain quality and professional material in a very timely manner. I also offer mobile recording gear that I can bring to meet you and record your project. I know commuting can be an issue, so I will bring a studio to you. I am able to record you in the comfort of your own environment and leave you with a professional product. I have had a background check done here on Thumbtack; you can view it. I charge $60/hr for this service. A 50% deposit is required to secure a time on whichever date. The balance is due on the recording session date.
I also encourage artists to utilize Miller Street Studios, which is located in Pilsen at 1913 S. Miller St. in Chicago. I offer new-artist discounts at $40/hr. I work on the Pro Tools platform and have an array of professional equipment. Feel free to contact me to discuss your project and studio time.

I am also a freelance DJ. I have reliable equipment and transportation. I utilize a google voice account where patrons can "text their request" to (267-Request) which I have integrated into my Spotify DJ setup. Feel free to compile a playlist (spotify or not) and I can work off of that if no requests come in. I would play the go to classic and current hits regardless. I can arrive one hour before the event for setup and sound check.

ILL Studios is a 10! I can STRONGLY recommend ILL Studios for any function you need a DJ for the job of playing the music you want to hear. I dove into the unknown when I hired Jack without seeing him work or meeting him in person. Jack had only a couple of reviews on âThumbtackâ. I was planning my 40th high school reunion as I lived 200 miles from the location the reunion was going to take place. Looking around on the web I found the rate to be upwards of $1000.00 which just was not in the budget. I was not looking for a stage show with colored lights & performers. I just wanted someone to play the hits of the 1970âs at a volume which people could still visit with each other. Jack & I communicated via email and phone. We met in person for the 1st time at the event. I explained to Jack that it was not important to try and get people on the dance floor. Jack said he was willing to do this. He asked for only $100 deposit, I figured ok. I would take a chance. Well, Jack was MAGIFACENT for my event. From the start he was very professional, he emailed me a basic easy to read contract, I sent a check, Jack emailed a receipt for my deposit. He showed up before I did, he set up without any assistance and played the music from the list I provide him. Jack in addition to taking request at his table he uses a text to him system also. When I needed to make an announcement he was quick cut the music and hand me the microphone. I had no complaints about the volume level of the music from the guests. At the end of the night, we did have some dancers, Jack kept his audience of 58-60 years old on the dances floor, and his mix was perfect. The balance due I paid in cash which Jack provided me with receipt. Overall Jack did everything, I requested. I could not have been happier with anyone else. I can strongly recommend Jack Hill, ILL Studios, when you want to hear the music you request.
