Introduction: I have an intuitive understanding of the mind body connection that I have gained through years of dance, teaching and bodywork. I believe the highest transformation takes place through a deep connection to ourselves. This is what I practice and try my best to pass on to the student. I give in-person and distant Reiki treatments. I also teach and attune others toward certifications in all the levels of Reiki, both in-person and over distance. YES! DISTANT healing is powerful! I also do chakra balancing and use tuning forks and crystals. I love making an authentic connection with people through the listening touch of Reiki. I also love working with the Tarot as a spiritual tool for individual understanding, peace, and growth!

This was outstanding. I came into it not knowing much about what to expect. Rachel was inviting and focused. As she practiced reiki on me her hands became very warm, almost hot, and in certain places I could feel pulses or waves emanating from them. I became very relaxed, meditative. The hour flew by, and it ended too soon. I would definitely do this again and plan on it. Normally I have very bad cramps associated with my period, and I actually started right after this session and experienced no cramps whatsoever. Highly recommend this. Rachel told me that no matter what it is you are experiencing, this practice goes "to the higher good." I believe she is right. I came out of it mentally and physically enlightened.

I have neuropathy and severe swelling in both feet. Rachel began to touch them, rubbing slightly and gently and sometimes simply just resting her hands on them. After a short while the nerve endings in my feet due to the neuropathy were relaxed. Her warm hands then simply rested on my ankles and the swelling visibly went partially away. I would look forward to the experience again.

Rachel was incredible! She is very advanced at Reiki treatment and Chakra cleansing and was able to help me a great deal. I felt immediately better after the treatment. I highly recommend her to anyone that is looking to improve energy or feel healthier.

I was having a thoug week, feeling sad, unhappy and with no energy. I went to see Rachel and it was a very relaxing experience, I slept very good that night and also I had a good day the following day she did reiki to me. I recommend her, she took the time to carefully listen to me, she was kind and generous. I had a very nice experience!

$50/hour
What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first have an email conversation so I can get some baseline information about what he/she needs and wants from the reiki session. I typically follow that with a phone conversation where we can interact in a more personal and specific way.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I do reiki self treatments every day, and I am part of reiki healing groups with many masters. I also am immersed in month long Feldenkrais trainings two times a year.
