I have been studying the performing arts since I was four years old. I am a singer, pianist, violinist, and actress, and I currently offer private virtual violin, viola, piano, and voice lessons. I have a BA in Music and BA in Musical Theatre from Columbia College Chicago. I have had so many wonderful opportunities to share the knowledge that I have gained throughout my time as a performing artist. I am a signed artist with Boosted Entertainment, and I am a Producer for the group Musicality, semi-finalists on AGT season 11. Not only do I assist in creating and directing music videos and original music for the group, but I also get to perform at incredible events and venues with them: UNICEF Won't Stop (with Jordin Sparks), Lollapalooza, KultureBall 2019 with Marc Martel, the Rosemont Theatre, TEDx with Ari Afsar and Miguel Cervantes (Chi-Hamilton Stars), and McDonald’s WWC (opening for Imagine Dragons, Christina Aguilera, Jennifer Hudson, and Bruno Mars). I have been in numerous music videos with the group and have led recording sessions. A few videos I have worked on ("This Is Me" and "From Now On") have even gained several million views! I have had the honor to star in the film "First String" as Rebecca Carlisle, and I am reprising my role in the sequel. I have had so many wondrous opportunities to share my craft with others, and I am enthusiastic about sharing even more through teaching and performing.

Kyla is an absolutely delightful teacher. Ive been studying singing, music theory, and composition with her now for nearly 3 years and I couldnt have asked for a better teacher. Just in general, shes endlessly kind and patient in her lessons and its a privilege to be able to learn from her. Im autistic and at first I was very nervous about doing singing lessons but Kyla always was able to put me at ease and has always been accommodating to my support needs. As a teacher she always pushes you to do better but never too hard that you get overwhelmed, and whenever Ive been lost or confused shes always able to explain things clearly and help me understand. Composition is something Ive always wanted to do, ever since I can remember, but I was very discouraged after high school. Thanks to Kyla Ive not only rediscovered my love for composition but gotten so much better than I ever was. Im now able to write pieces I actually like. I never thought Id ever get to this point. I really cannot express how lucky I feel to have her as my teacher.

Kyla was instrumental in preparing my 14-year-old daughter to sing Through the Years at my parents 50th anniversary/vow renewal in Las Vegas. She helped her find a more modern version than the one Kenny Rogers sang, and a key she was comfortable with. Everyone was in tears, she did such a superb job. She wouldnt have had the confidence or presence she did without Kylas help! Highly recommend her to anyone needing voice lessons!!
