Introduction: Because I actually know what I'm doing and I've never met a teacher better than me. I speak multiple languages QUITE well, and know from almost 13 years experience exactly what kinds of obstacles people face when learning a language. The other thing is that I always make sure to come up with lesson plans and practicing/study suggestions to fit everyone I work with. It would be a cop-out for me to just hand you a book with some exercises in it and call it a day. That's not what you're paying me for.
Learning a new language does wonders for people. For some, it is the accomplishment of a long time dream, for others it helps to prove something to themselves, or to have a chance to widen the horizons of their work-life. But mostly its because I love the art of connection, and being able to connect with someone with their OWN language is really a special kind of experience. I can't even imagine what my life would be like without my languages and I love sharing that with people.
