Introduction: I'll be upfront. I'm not a 'quick fix' kind of guy. If you want to work with me, you'll need to commit to the journey. And that journey requires grit and the willingness to keep showing up for yourself. And truth be told, that's all any of us really do anyhow ... we just keep showing up. I know that sometimes showing up looks like pulling the covers over your head and sleeping it off and other days showing up means hitting the ground running. My commitment to you and any person I work with is to show up WITH you ... right where you are. Working together, we can uncover the solutions and answers that are already inside of you. So I urge you to get on board with process sooner rather than later. I'm certain that the end result will be a marked shift from a mindset of lack and limitation to one of possibility and potential. And finally, I always infuse the power of mindfulness and connection to that inexplicable something that is greater than both you and I and yet is simultaneously embodied as both you and I. As far as my professional credentials, I have a Master's degree in Rehabilitation Counseling as well as my CRC (Certified Rehabilitation Counselor) and LPC (Licensed Professional Counselor). Tom Bob is truly an outstanding individual and spiritual counselor. I spent a year and a half working with Tom Bob trying to untangle and make sense of what I knew as my shitty little life at the time. I sought him because I could not see clearly what happened to get me where I was, and much less where I was going. I lacked a wanting to continue life... as I knew it. Tom Bob because my eyes, and helped me see clearly and make sense of the life I HAD CREATED and the roles in my life that kept me playing small. He helped me identify my "stinkin' thinkin'" and distinguish reality from my perception of it. To sum it up: WORKING WITH TOM BOB FOR THAT YEAR AND A HALF ABSOLUTELY CHANGED MY LIFE. Tom Bob went above and beyond his work description, and was FULLY committed to my well being. He was committed even at the times when I wasnt. He would pull me back in when I was "doin' my thang' " aka trying to skip appointments, binge eating, throwing up, isolating, throwing a pity party, hussin and fussin about something ridiculous, and wallowing. He loved me through ALL OF THAT, and in turn, I learned to love ALL OF ME and learned to not only identify those limiting patterns, but also replace them with more loving ones. Tom Bob creates an environment that is safe and completely welcoming. I know I can tell him anything. I don't feel judged at all. That alone has helped me have an entirely new life experience.
