- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
We keep hearing about folks who hired a tech person or company to build a site and optimize it. It looks great and says what they want it to say, but what happens in 2 or 3 months when something has to change? Lets say their hours have changed, do you really want to pay a tech $50 an hour to fix this? Even worse, the tech did everything. He or she bought the domain name, built the site, optimized it and then moved away! They are gone for good so now the only way to update the website is to create a completely new one! But customers may never know about a new site because the old site is still up and running. Where is the business listed and how do you update those listing for the new site? Make sure you own your site and have ALL the passwords!
