Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. I would say, look at what the provider is saying they can provide for the price offered. You can find great deals, but need to understand ahead of time what you are getting for your budget. Also, what the upgrades cost, this is what cause a design project to escalate in price.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I was a buyer of web design services when I started out back in 1999. I quickly realized that typical web designers will give you only what you ask for. Then, when you are looking for additional stuff, hang on to your wallet, as they make their money here. I operate differently, I give you what I know you are looking for and charge a simple flat rate for all.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What will I get for the budget that I am spending on web design services? What additions can I get to my web site even if you are not needing them now. Is the web site I am getting, expandable and a build-able platform.
