FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a few standard packages, but most customers like to build their own package by telling me what they need, or do not need. This way, I can provide the customer the most accurate price without giving them unneeded features, or leaving things out they really need like an online store, customer backend, and so on.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
I first have a phone or in meeting conversation with the client to learn about what they want to see in their new website, blog, online store, or landing page. Then I draft up a proposal and estimated budget. After the budget is approved I develop a visual wireframe and mockups for the customer to sign off of. Then the design and development stage begins where I will keep the customer updated the entire way and ask for supplemental content when needed.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I have worked with many different types of customers. I just got finished designing a website for a photo album company that creates wedding albums. I developed an online ordering and customization system for them, for thousands less than the other quote they had received by another web design company. Before that I had created a website for a charity basketball organization, that allowed them to accept online donations through PayPal.
